RELATED VOLUME: VOL. 1 - Emergence

ARCHIVE SUMMARY: This file preserves our ongoing search into the idea of Biblical emergence. It looks closely at how hidden seasons, personal training, and identity all connect. It also studies the hard challenges Kingdom Builders face as they grow. This investigation stays active because we are always adding new notes, clues, and understanding to the safe record.

PRIMARY INVESTIGATION: How does God prepare Kingdom builders for emergence or to come into the light?

DEFINITIONS:

  • Emergence: The process of coming into view, becoming known, or developing existence; properties that are formed when individual parts of a thing arise from their collective interactions

    • ex: meaning “out” or “forth”

    • mergere: meaning “to dip, plunge, or sink”

    • Literal Latin meaning: to rise up out of the water.

    • merge: to plunge together or blend into one.

  • Hiddenness: the state or quality of being concealed, unrevealed, or kept out of sight.

    • hydan: to hide, conceal, or bury a corpse.

PRIMARY SOURCES: This investigation draws from:

  • Personal journals

  • Scripture

  • Conversations

  • Historical word studies

  • Emotional patterns

  • Seasons of being hidden

OBSERVATIONS:

  • Multilayered, Not Broken: Having many different layers is not the same as being shattered. Some of our pieces are simply disconnected and waiting to be put together.

  • The Order of Things: Emergence almost always happens right after a season of being hidden.

  • The Purpose of the Dark: Hiddenness seems to be deeply linked to being buried, covered, and protected so a seed can grow.

  • The Upward Motion: The word "emergence" gives the picture of moving upward out of a low, deep place.

  • Private Training: The Bible often shows that God prepares His people in private before He gives them a public mission.

  • Building, Not Carrying: Early clues suggest that not every heavy burden is meant to be carried on our backs. Some heavy feelings are actually blueprints for things we are supposed to build.

SCRIPTURAL FRAMEWORK:

  • Isaiah 43:18-19

  • Proverbs 14:12

  • Ecclesiastes 3:11

  • Psalm 27:5

  • Psalm 139:14

EVIDENCE PRESERVED:

  • Dispatch 001- Life as Evidence

  • Meek Maven Review 001- Emergence

  • Case Expansion- Seed vs. Tree

  • Case Investigation- Visibility vs Impact

PATTERNS OBSERVED:

  • The Emotional Loop: Our clues show a strong link between feeling rejected and feeling envy. They are part of a repeating emotional loop that desperately wants to be connected, accepted, and cheered on.

  • Stepping Out Too Soon: Coming into the light before it is time often leads to hard consequences or holds us back.

  • The Wilderness Training: The wilderness is consistently used as a quiet place for testing, shaping, and training.

QUESTIONS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION:

  • How can we clearly tell the difference between a season of hiding and a season of rising?

  • How do being seen and making an impact connect? Can you have one without the other if it is God’s plan?

  • What clear patterns do we see in the Bible when Jesus deals with being in the public eye?
